TURBOCHARGING YOUR HONDA WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

RedShift Motorsports, Inc. to lead the Honda/Acura forced induction market

in partnership with HyTech Exhaust, Irvine, CA.

 

In an effort to provide Honda/Acura forced induction customers with truly world-class options, RedShift Motorsports, Inc. has partnered with HyTech Exhaust to produce best-in-market turbo systems for late model Honda/Acura vehicle.  According to Chris Shenefield, President of RedShift Motorsports, Inc., the product offerings for late-model Honda/Acura forced induction customers is weak, more or less devoid of a premium turbo system that offers excellence in design, build quality, and proper engine control.  RedShift is expected to release two turbo system applications in late Spring 2008 for the Acura RSX and 2006+ Civic Si.  Turbo system applications for the Acura TSX, late-model 4 cylinder Accord, and other 4 cylinder Honda/Acura cars and small trucks will follow.

 

The partnership between RedShift and HyTech provides for significant strengths relating to turbo system development and quality.  First, HyTech has been the leader in race engine exhaust technology for the past 23 years, with numerous championships in SCCA, USAC, Trans-Am, World SportsCars, Dirt Track and NHRA Drag racing series. HyTech's innovative approach to exhaust development has catapulted it into the forefront of the racing industry. 

 

HyTech has dominated the Import Drag racing series with clients like Stephan Papadakis, Brent Rau, Skunk 2, Jeremy Lookofsky, and Mark Brauning.  Furthermore, one of heaviest hitters in Honda race engine building, Endyn, uses HyTech exhaust headers exclusively as they say, "We use custom HyTech Exhaust headers on all the engines we build here at Endyn. These headers have repeatedly out-performed every other header (custom or production) on the market in our dyno testing and in real-world racing applications."  HyTech's innovative approach to exhaust design has set them apart from the competition in it's 23 years with advanced exhaust technologies such as anti-reversion, stepped primary pipe configuration, tri-y collectors, acoustical tuning, sequential cylinder pairing and non conventional pipe shapes.  It's obvious that RedShift Turbo Systems will offer unparalleled performance in part because of HyTech's exhaust-side involvement.

 

RedShift Turbo Systems will benefit as well from RedShift's technical capabilities in the area of engine design, engine controls, combustion theory/application, and forced induction systems optimization.  RedShift Motorsports, Inc. is lead by Chris Shenefield, whose professional resume includes a Master's Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a stint at Honda's engineering company, Honda R&D Americas, and many years of racing, including an SCCA National Championship.  RedShift Motorsports, Inc. has been a well-respected name in the automotive race and performance market since the early 90's due to it's knowledge, capability, integrity and dedication to world-class products and services.  RedShift Motorsports has a hardworking staff and consultant base which includes a hydraulics engineer with a decade of design work with Caterpillar (CAT), a prior McLaren F1 aerodynamicist under Adrian Newey, our UTI educated technician staff, and a very hard working office and sales staff.
