Are you ready
for the new generation of superchargers for Honda/Acura cars and trucks? We are currently developing
a line of RedShift
Supercharger System. We will soon be releasing systems for the Acura RSX, the 06+ Civic Si,
and then the TSX and other K-series systems. Stage 1, 2, and 3 will see power in the
250-305 WHEEL
horsepower range from an otherwise stock engine.

Conversion Kit with Hondata Reflash for Jackson Racing (Moss Motors) and
Comptech systems.

RedShift Intercooled Conversion Kit (with Hondata Reflash)
This kit will allow your Comptech or Jackson Racing (Moss Motors)
supercharger kit to be intercooled. Includes the RedShift Manifold,
Adapter base plate, 2.5" Tubing, 8x24x3" Intercooler (rated to 450
hp), Fast Response Intake Air Temperature Sensor, IAT sensor plug
and play harness, and all required hardware. Many intercoolers
require modification of your front bumper for clearance. This kit
includes everything required for the conversion. This kit contains
no supercharger, no injectors, no pulleys, and no belt/drive/tensioner
parts. Belt size requirements coming soon, but note that our
manifold places the blower within millimeters of the JR or Comptech
systems; so if you are not changing your pulley, there is a good
chance your belt will stay the same size (belt size details coming
soon).

RedShift Supercharger FAQ

This FAQ will be an ongoing
effort to help potential customers understand RedShift Supercharger products.
1. What type of supercharger does RedShift use?
Answer: We are going to offer several options. We will be offering Eaton
Roots blowers as well as Lysholm and possibly Autorotor twin-screw
superchargers.
2. Which is better, the Roots or Twin-screw supercharger???
Answer:
Roots and twin-screw superchargers are very similar in look at operation,
but the twin-screw charger is more efficient at making boost above 8 psi
(meaning it creates less heat for the same psi boost). Both roots and
twin-screw chargers are positive displacement pumps
(meaning they displace the same amount of air per revolution), but only the
twin-screw compresses air as it moves through the charger. The
roots charger only moves the air from inlet to outlet (without compressing
it internally); so the air is compressed only in the intake manifold
downstream of the roots charger.
3. Will a supercharger system shorten the life of my engine?
Answer: Not necessarily. The life of the engine is mostly determined by how
you drive the car and how you maintain it (oil changes, etc). If you abuse
any car, you will decrease it's life. We are very careful to ensure that
our systems are developed with the same care that the manufacture used in
developing the stock spec car. We control exhaust gas temps, keep safe
air-fuel ratios, maintain proper ignition timing, and ensure safe knock
sensor control of the engine. That said, the higher combustion pressures
created to make more power will increase stress on any engine, no matter
what means is used to make more power. Supercharger and turbo systems are
no different.
4. What "Stage" is right for me.
Answer: We offer 4 stages. Stage 1
is the first level of additional power, usually including a low boost level
and no intercooler. Most times, when adding a small amount of power, much of
the engine controls and fuel supply can remain stock, and the price remains
quite low. Stage 2 is the
first intercooled level and offers a significant power increase with less
stress on the engine for long engine life.
Stage 3 is the highest level
of power offered for stock engines, and it is suited for people who want the
most power their engine has been proven to tolerate in normal testing.
Stage 4 is a custom
specified level of horsepower that usually results in the supercharger
producing maximum boost and flow on a modified engine. The Lysholm 1600AX
that comes standard in our kits can make approximately 350 whp at 16 psi on
Honda K20 and K24 engines.
5. Does RedShift have a warrantee on it's products?
Answer: Absolutely! We warrantee all RedShift products to be free from
manufacturer's defects for 2 years from date of purchase. This warrantee is
not transferable to a second purchaser. RedShift Motorsports does not, in
any way, warrantee or guarantee the function or mechanical health of the
vehicle on which any forced induction product is installed.
6. Why should I chose a RedShift Supercharger over another brand?
Answer: Because chicks dig the power generated by RedShift Superchargers of
course! Actually, the real reason is that our systems are engineered to
outperform the competition in every way possible. You will have more usable
low-rpm, mid-rpm, and high-rpm power than with any other supercharger.
Roots chargers will make less power everywhere! Centrifugal chargers might
make a few % more power at redline, but the usable power under the curve
(what really accelerates the car) will be higher on the RedShift Twin-Screw
Superchargers. RedShift is dedicated to providing the most effective and

7. Why did the chicken cross the road?
