HOW YOU ARE BILLED:
Hourly rate starts as soon as work begins on car
and ends when work is complete.
We adhere to very strict 6-minute (1/10th
hour) increments. Tuning equipment setup and teardown is
billed as part of service time and can vary with application.
Setup of tuning equipment for tuning
can take 30 seconds or 30 minutes, depending on your needs.
It's a quick 30 seconds if we are just plugging into a Hondata S300
and you have a wideband oxygen sensor on the car already.
Setup can also take 30 minutes if we need to install our wideband on
your car (need to have an available O2 sensor location).
Teardown is 0-15 minutes (depending on what equipment we need to
remove from the car); so
approximately 45 minutes of setup/teardown is billed at normal rate
on most appointments. Bottom line is that you are billed
actual time we work on your car (tuning setup, tuning, and tuning

OUR RECOMMENDATION ON STREET
VS. DYNO TUNING:
It is always most economical to first street tune for
basic parameters and drivability and then dyno tune for power if
wanted. Many tuning clients chose to street tune only because
proper a/f ratio and well-known ignition timing parameters for
engine longevity is usually the priority. This is especially
true with forced induction.
